Rules and General Operating Plan

Hours:

  • Pool hours run daily from 6 AM to 10PM

Lap Swim:

  • Lap Swim hours will run daily from 6 AM to 9 AM

General Rules:

1. NO guests for out of bounds members.  Inbound members are permitted to bring guests twice per month.  In-bound members live inside of the 2 blocks of Koch and Wawona between Briarwood and Booksin.  If you are not sure of your status, in bounds or out of bounds, please ask and we will let you know based on your home address.

2. NO glass.  Drinks are welcome but please use plastic or metal.

3. NO poop in the pool.  Be sure your little swimmers have an appropriate swim diaper that keeps everything in.  Children who are prone to accidents must have 2 diapers, one disposable covered by a reusable leak proof diaper.  Accidents in the pool will lead to 3-4 days of closure so that we can clean the water.  If the mess is extensive, we may need to drain and refill the pool.

4.  NO pets.  This means no pets inside the gate, on the pool deck or in the pool.  Pets should be left at home.  If you have a qualified service animal, please contact us directly so that arrangements can be made.

5.  NO large inflatables.  Innertubes and pool noodles not made of styrofoam are allowed as long as there is room for everyone to swim.  Toys and floaties should be removed from the pool when not in use to ensure parents can watch their swimmers.

6. NO lifeguard on duty.  Children must be supervised to use the pool and younger swimmers who need a flotation device should have an adult in the water with them at all times. Persons under the age of 16 years old are not allowed to use the pool unless accompanied by someone 23 years or older.

7. NO running or horseplay.  The pool deck has been updated with a non-stick surface but we still need everyone to walk.

8. NO rollerblades, skates or ride on toys. Children must leave their ride on toys outside the fence.

9. NO diving.  The pool is only 8 ft deep and not suitable for diving.  The pool should be entered feet first and ensure your little swimmers jump away from the side.

10. NO unattended children.  Children 16 and under must be supervised by an adult age 23 or older.  If you need to use the bathroom and are the supervising adult, either have your children exit the pool or ask a friend to watch them.

We hate to be the pool police!  The rules are in place to ensure safety and an available pool for all members to use.  Please respect the rules so that we don't have to remind you....  There are cameras and we check them... often;)  Repeat offenders will not be invited back next season and can have a membership revoked before the end of the season for repeat offenders.

Parties and Guests:

  • Parties are available upon request to current members for $300.00 fee plus a refundable $50.00 security deposit. Party times are Saturday or Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Dates are available on a fist come first served basis. All parties MUST be cleaned up and non-member guests exit the pool by 2:00 PM.

  • To book a party, click on the events tab on our website and use the Party Booking Request Form to request your date.

Shared Facilities/Spaces:

  • Place trash in receptacles and clean up after your self and your children.

  • A cleaning service will be used weekly but we are relying on members to ensure the safety of all if they choose to use the restroom. If you see something, say something because we don’t know what we don’t know.

  • The ping pong table is ready for use and a fuse ball table has been added for the season, please be sure to return paddles and balls after they are used.

Volunteers

  • If you have a skill or profession and see a gap, please let us know. We are an all volunteer organization and it takes a village to run the pool. We are always looking for help and would be happy to have your assistance.
